Fabric & colour
Different colours of the same design can use different blends. The Meiniang Ying coat, for example, lists its composition by colour. Check the information for your chosen shade, including any separate lining or trim details.
Understanding composition
A blend lists more than one fibre. The Fangcao Ying coat contains 69.4% alpaca and 30.6% sheep wool. Together, those figures describe its alpaca and wool blend.
Look for qualifications alongside a percentage. The Yu Long Zi sweater lists 100% wool with ribbed sections excluded. Separate shell, lining and trim statements apply to those specific parts of a piece.
Caring for your piece
Check the product care information and the care label before cleaning. A method suitable for one wool garment may differ from the instructions for another because the blend, construction and details differ. Avoid choosing a washing or drying method from the fibre name alone.
